Serbian startup designs toothbrush for dogs

When Bold International Group started distributing innovative products six and a half years ago, they couldn’t imagine that they would end up being innovators themselves, with a portfolio of extraordinary products from their own line. One of their most exciting development projects is Petsie, an innovative toothbrush for dogs which they have successfully developed from the idea to the realization.

The idea behind Petsie came from a simple, but important insight: dogs have a need for oral hygiene just like people do.

Dusan Obradovic, the general manager of the accelerator See Up, which helps startups with a mature product to find their place in the market, and which operates within Bold International Group, explains that it all started during the coronavirus period.

Unlike the conventional toothbrushes for dogs, which enable only mechanical cleaning, the electrolysis technology which powers Petsie breaks up the bond between the plaque and the teeth, preventing plaque and the health problems arising from it.

This process not only cleans and protects dogs’ teeth and gums, but also has a positive impact on their overall health and well-being.
