Australians discover the highest gold content ever found in Rogozna - The first well in the Sanac field revealed a 90m belt with 4g/t

Australia's Strickland Metals has found "the strongest gold mineralization ever" at Rogozna, according to the announcement of the first results of exploratory drilling in the Sanac field.

The first hole drilled by Strickland near Sanac showed a zone of 89.7m with 4 grams of gold per ton at 244.5m, and as much as 10.5 grams per ton in a zone of 24.1 meters, at a depth of 296.2m.

This is the first time that this zone of high-quality gold skarn has been sampled at Sanac, Strickland announced. The company recently became a 100% owner of the Rogozna project.

Paul Lerpiniere, managing director of Strickland, said the results from the first hole drilled by Strickland at the Trench this year were "phenomenal".

- Our strategy for Sanac was to target zones of a higher level of the deposit, in order to develop the assumed resource of 150 tons of gold equivalent in this deposit. And not only did we discover the largest amounts of gold ever found on Rogozna, but we also encountered extensive copper and gold mineralization, about 109m long, with 1.3 g/t gold at 0.4% copper, including multiple zones of massive chalcopyrite, with up to 11% copper.

Lerpiniere concludes that this is a very large deposit with a thick zone of high-grade gold, and notes that drilling will begin soon and it will bring Strickland to its central zone.

In its announcement, the company also stated that it remains extremely well funded, with USD 48.7 million in cash and NST (Northern Star Resources) stock at the end of the June quarter.

We remind our readers that, a few days ago, Strickland also published promising preliminary research results that indicate a significant geological anomaly in the place of Obradov Potok at Rogozna. The identified anomaly, which starts approximately 100 meters below the surface and extends 400 meters in length, could signal the presence of extensive mineralization, matching geochemical signatures of gold and other minerals in soil samples, Australian media reported.
