Japanese JFE Shoji announces the possibility of expanding the company in Indjija
The delegation from Japan, which was on a working visit to the President of the Municipality of Indjija, Marko Gasic, expressed satisfaction with the cooperation with the Municipality of Inđija and informed Gasic about the dynamics of the construction of its production facilities. Japanese businessmen also announced the possibility of expanding the company in Indjija and highlighted positive experiences from Indjija and Serbia.
Gasic said that the construction of another factory in the field of the automotive industry is significant for the Municipality of Indjija, as well as the investment of EUR 50 million and the employment of around 150 workers, as announced by JFE Shoji.
The company from Japan is part of a holding that operates in 22 regions around the world, with over 64 thousand employees within the group.
It was previously announced that the plan is for the factory, the first in Europe owned by JFE Shoji, covering an area of 18,000 m2, to employ up to 150 people in the first phase, and for production to begin in early 2025.
