Hungarian company gets job of preparation of documentation for construction of Aquatic Center within EXPO complex

The Hungarian company Market Epito Zrt has been awarded the contract for the preparation of the urban planning-technical documentation for the needs of the obtaining of the location requirements for the construction of the Aquatic Center within the EXPO complex in Surcin.

The value of the agreed job is RSD 23.8 million without that VAT (RSD 28.6 million with the VAT), which is slightly lower than the estimated value of the public procurement (RSD 25 million without the VAT).

The Hungarian company was the only bidder at the tender that was opened in mid-June by the company Akvatik centar doo. The company, whose headquarters are in Budapest, also has two subcontractors for the contracted job – Energoprojekt urbanizam i arhitektura ad Beograd, which will prepare the urban project and the project of parcellation and re-parcellation with the forming of a parcel at the RGA, as well as the preliminary design with the obtaining of the location requirements for the planning, and the Hungarian Lean Tech Mernokiroda, which will take part in the preparation of the 3D model of the complex and the development of the conceptual design.

Let us remind that the Government of Serbia has founded the company called Privredno drustvo SPV Akvatik centar d.o.o. Beograd, for the purpose of the construction of a sports complex for water sports. The future sports center will be located within the National Stadium complex and the EXPO Center in Surcin.

The Aquatic Center is a complex that is meant for training and international water sport tournaments, and the plan is for the facility to spread on an area of 10 hectares. The sports center will be built in line with the FINA standards for world water sports, and the seating capacity will be 4,000.
