(Port of Belgrade)

The Appellate Court in Belgrade has partially confirmed and partially revoked the trial decision of the Higher Court in Belgrade regarding the temporary order prohibiting the sale and disposal of the Port of Belgrade's lots, the Appellate Court announced on September 23rd.

Deciding about an appeal filed by the Port of Belgrade against the Higher Court's decision temporarily prohibiting any sale or disposal of the company's assets situated on its cadastral parcels, the Appellate Court has partially revoked and partially confirmed the trial decision.

The trial decision is revoked for several lots for which the Port of Belgrade has submitted evidence proving that the holder of the right to use these lots is a third person not involved in the case.

For all other cadastral parcels the trial decision is confirmed because, in the opinion of the Appellate Court, the Higher Court ruled correctly that the conditions were met for issuing a temporary order since the prosecutor proved there was a danger of the occurrence of an irreparable damage.
