KK Crvena Zvezda to build new hall? – EuroLeague in Zeleznik by subway

The Assembly of KK Crvena zvezda (Red Star Basketball Club) has announced that the club is to have a new hall built. It should be located in Zeleznik near the new subway station. Only KK Crvena Zvezda would use that hall, both for training and for matches.

Something of the sort was speculated about when the EuroLeague delegation visited Belgrade several months ago and Zvezda submitted the plan for the construction of a new hall as an argument for the license.

At the Assembly, Nebojsa Covic cited as the main reason the fact that the Arena couldn’t guarantee training terms for Zvezda, as Partizan was given priority, and the Pionir hall was too small for the needs of the club, the Alo daily reports.
