Opening of shopping center Evroazija in early August

The opening of the new shopping center Evroazija in New Belgrade is expected in the early August, announced the minister of construction, transport and infrastructure of Serbia, Goran Vesic, who visited the construction site together with the ambassador of China, Li Ming.

The new shopping center, as Vesic pointed out, will be the biggest and most modern center for the wholesale of Chinese goods in this part of Europe. In addition to that, it will be available to everybody, but it will primarily feature Chinese shops, added Vesic.

– The shopping center is built absolutely in line with all the safety standards, which is especially important if we remember what has happened several times in Chinese stores, because they used facilities which were old and not intended for that type of commerce – Vesic said on social networks.

As he added, back when he was the deputy mayor of Belgrade, representatives of the Evroazija shopping center visited him and proposed to build a modern Chinese shopping center in Belgrade.

– I am happy that, only 14 months later, this shopping center is in the final phase and that we will have a safe and modern space for Chinese and local traders – concluded Vesic.

Let us remind that, earlier this year, it was announced that this shopping center might open at the end of May, then at the end of June, but it hasn’t happened.
