Serbian Food Industry Signs Agreements Worth EUR 11 Million at Gulfood 2024 Fair in Dubai

More than 2,200 meetings within the National Pavilion of Serbia, eight pre-contracts and contracts, new exporting jobs worth EUR 11 million, are the first results of the participation of companies from Serbia in the International Food Industry Fair Gulfood 2024, which was held in Dubai, announced the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia (CCIS).

At this prestigious gathering of world food producers, 24 Serbian companies, organized by the CCIS and the Development Agency of Serbia (DAS), took part, and they presented themselves with a very varied exporting offer of food products.

In one of the main fair halls of the Trade Center Arena & Sheikh Saeed Halls, from February 19 through 23, the following companies from Serbia presented their production programs: Tartufi SR, The Fun&Fit Company, Packom International, Laki, Master Food, Benlia foods, YUMIS, Master Fruits, Sirogojno Company, Natura Top, Frucom Food, Podgorina voće, Cold Pressok, Tisacoop, CG Foods Europe, Damar Confit, Stanić, Minela PR, Geneza, ITN Group, Budimka, Mirax Agrar, Drenovac and Flory.

A majority of the interested potential business partners with which the Serbian companies had meetings came from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, India, China, Egypt, Lebanon, South Africa, Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan…

This year’s 29th edition of Gulfood, at the Dubai World Trade Center, hosted over 5,500 exhibitors from 190 countries, and the representatives of Serbian companies are satisfied with their participation in the fair, the organization and the established contacts, and they expect the expansion of their operations to big world markets.
