New Music School of 1,300 m2 to Be Built in Jagodina – Tender for Designers Published

The city administration of Jagodina has published the tender for the preparation of the project-technical documentation for the construction of the building of the Elementary Music School “Vladimir Djordjevic”. The value of the tender has been estimated at RSD 1.5 million.

The facility is meant for elementary music education, and the planned area is 1,300 m2.

The facility is to have two floors (including the ground floor). The location is in the central city zone, in close proximity to the Elementary School “Milan Mijalkovic”.

– The facility needs to be designed so that it meets the needs of the future users in the functional and aesthetic senses. The space should be organized in line with the modern requirements of the scientific-education purpose, the materials, facades and joinery should be harmonized with the energy demands, regulations and rules of the profession, and the space should be organized in line with the rules of accessibility in public facilities – says the tendering documentation.

The Music School in Jagodina was founded in 1952. It was first located on the National Youth Square, but was then moved to its current location in Boska Buhe Street, in a facility which was built in 1959.
