JGSP Novi Sad to announce new tender in August 2011 for procurement of electronic ticket charging system

Public City Transport Company (JGSP) Novi Sad will launch in late July or August a procedure for the public procurement of equipment for the introduction of an electronic ticket charging system.

As people at that company told eKapija, it will be a unique ticket issuing system in Serbia, and the procedure will include the procurement of equipment and the development of services related to the new system. The investment is worth RSD 157,300,000.

There were certain attempts before at introducing such system, but, as eKapija learned, they all failed mainly because of irregular bids. The public procurement will this time be conducted with the city's consent and according to the plan of JGSP Novi Sad.
