Thanks to the latest offer of Societe Generale bank, the annual interest rate on residential credits in Serbia is down below 4%

Banking interest rates for residential credits on March, 28th, 2006 in Serbia for the first time have brocken the magical line of 4% on year's basis, and with the announcement of Societe Generale bank which will approve loans for buying appartments with a subvension of the state with composed interest rate which is from 3.5 - 3.69% a year.

According to the words of executive director of this bank for human relations, Miroslav Rebic, residential credits with the support of National corporation for insurance of residential credits will be apporved from 10.000-100.000 EUR, with a payment up to 25 years and with a client's participation of 10% and state's participation of 20%.

Maximum monthly load from the client's paycheck can be up to 50%, with a possibility of joint income of all members of the household, and the instrument of security is mortgage which can be put to a real estate in building or the one already in posession. Effective interest rate is 3.92 - 4.19% a year.
