Ministry of agriculture and Mediterranean agronomic institute have promoted a Guide for integral production of fruit and vegetables

In the organization of Ministry of agriculture of Serbia in the Club of delegates was promoted a Guide for integral production of fruit and vegetables made within the project "Improvement of gains of fruits and vegetables by agriculture in the Balkan region." The organizer of the project is Mediterranean agronomic institute in Bari.

Minister of agriculture in the Government of Serbia, Ivana Dulic - Markovic, reminded that from Serbia a total of 35 private and state's councilers have been on training in Italy.

It is necessary to have knowledge in order to produce healthy food. The way for healthy food leads from integral one as organic production. It is this way exactley what we need to overcome in our country and about which enormous help can give the project financied by Italian government and instructions - pointed Dulic-Markovic.

Biaggio Di Terlici from the Mediterranean agronomic institute announced that in July of this year would start realization of the second project, but the point will be on organic production. He reminded that in this field there were no quotes for export to European Union, which would make the access to the market much easier to the countries that were in developping of healthy food.

The value of the first project which began in April, 2004, was 2 millions eur.
