Serbia spends up to four times more electrical energy than the European average, but last winter, the citizens of Serbia showed responsibility and over a million households consumed less energy on a monthly level, thereby having their bills reduced up to 30%, pointed out the minister of mining and energy of Serbia, Dubravka Djedovic Handanovic.

The minister said that, this winter too, the state will continue helping the citizens who save, “to an even greater extent than last winter.”

– The discounts will go from 20% to 40%. Last year, we went up to 30%, now it’s 40% for all those who use electrical energy rationally and who reduce the consumption compared to the previous year or the year before that – she said for the Srpski Telegraf daily.
