Nova Retail Park – Development of retail formats in multiple cities across the country
After the laying of the foundation stone for the retail park in Ub municipality, Nova Retail Park company has successfully started with construction of the second in row out of, at this moment, 4 planned projects.
Nova Retail Park Kula will be located on a traffic corridor connecting Kula and Vrbas cities, not far from the new planned fast road connecting Hungarian and Romanian borders, exactly 3,5km from the centre of Kula. The project will be of total size of 18,000 sqm, out of which 15,800 sqm will be of net leasable area. With total of 420 parking spaces, this retail format will complete the existing offer of surrounding cities with a large number of international and domestic fashion brands, children fashion, sport brands, health and beauty store, as well as services and supermarket for everyday needs of the visitors. Planned opening of this retail park is fall 2024.
Nova Retail Park company announced further activities regarding construction of retail formats in various additional cities in the country, including Ruma and Sid, for which the openings are planned by end of 2024. The lease and commercialization for all their developments has been exclusively trusted to CBS International, the leading real estate consultancy, part of Cushman & Wakefield Group.
″ We have carefully curated a diverse tenant mix, including well-known brands and local favourites for each project individually and as a team included from the initial drawings to building a strong tenant mix, marketing, leasing and commercialization, we feel confident in the retail parks success and that they will position themselves as strong shopping destinations in the future″, said senior consultant for retail properties in CBS International, Marko Katanic.
Director of Nova Retail Park company, Marko Grujicic emphasised that this is just a beginning and that there are many novelties and projects in front of us.
″As the announced beginning of construction of the retail park in Ub, we are continuing with the same intensity of works in Kula. We are extremely proud, as a domestic company, of being a part of the creation of these projects in our country and with successful collaboration with local authorities, believe that the following projects in Ruma and Sid will as well come across positive reaction of the local inhabitants, which will have a larger offer and better choices of retail brands in their cities. We can also vaunt that for the projects in Ruma and Sid we have just signed long term lease agreement with Lidl, which will significantly improve the offer and secure for the consumers a full experience in one place."
