Vranje to Get Football Stadium for 8,300 Spectators – UEFA Category 4 Complex in Yumco Company Location After All (PHOTO)

The area covered by the urban project amounts to 5.3 ha, and this is a space on which the existing football stadium Yumco is located, with northern and southern stands with a total capacity of 5,000 spectator spots, 1,005 of which are seats. The local team at the stadium is the Dinamo Vranje football club.
The stadium is planned to meet the conditions proscribed by the UEFA Stadium Infrastructure Regulations for Category 4 facilities.
The capacity of the stadium is 8,302 spectators and four VIP boxes. Various parts of the facility are to range from ground floor height to GF + 4, and the height of the facility will go up to 25 meters. The total net area of the facility is 25,393.77 m2, and the gross area is 27,684.48 m2.

The plan was prepared by PRO-ING from Novi Sad, and the public presentation will last until October 2.
Let us remind that the construction of the football stadium in Vranje was first announced back in 2019, and the works were expected to begin at the end of that year.
According to the initial plan, the new stadium in Vranje was supposed to be located between the tobacco factory and the sports hall.
The association Borino i evropsko Vranje (BEV) filed a petition requesting for the new stadium to be built in the Yumco company location and for the existing Sports Center to be reconstructed.
