Tender in announcement for privatization of the majority package of Industry of machines and components 14.oktobar Krusevac

Tender for privatization of Industry of machines and components "14.oktobar" from Krusevac will be published these days, as stated by general director of this factory Milovan Milosevic.

The state's package of shares in IMK of 54.79% will be offered under the same conditions as on the previous one, but with decreased number of workers and paid off debts to public companies in the value of 46 millions eur. IMK "14.oktobar" at the moment has large business and production space in Krusevac, Belgrade, brus, Varvarin, Sutomore, and Jastrebac, and also 85 ha of construction land in the headquarters of the company.

The first tender for privatization was on December, 1st, 2004, to which no one answered with an offer, despite interest of several world companies, among whome were ATS from Vienna. As announced, a consulting agency Deloitte and Toushe would soon do a new evaluation of the company's capital value. Production plan of the company for only 2006 is worth 1.6 billions dinars, while 2.200 workers expect an increase of work and paychecks from a strategic partner who winns on tender.
