Zemun-based ``Planum`` and Company for Roads ``Niš`` will work on widening of tunnels on Niš-Pirot road in Sićevačka Klisura Gorge. Total value of the works amounts to about 250 million CSD. The works should start in April 2005. During the lasting of the works, the traffic will be redirected to the bypass via Ploče, which was put in operation in 2004. European Investment Bank approved €95m for rehabilitation of roads in Serbia, whereas European Bank for Rehabilitation and Development provided another €76m. Approved finances for Belgrade – Novi Sad road, including ``Beška`` bridge, amount to about €200m. Soon there will be talks on approval of another €22m for repair of about 60 bridges on roads in Serbia.
At the beginning of February 2005, Republic Government suggested €527m worth of concession for construction of highway towards Bulgarian border.(Pregled)
