Ambitious plans of Erste bank on the Serbian market

Closing accounts for the year 2005 of the ex Novi Sad bank which is doing business since last year under the name Erste bank a.d. Novi Sad is not typical for business banks on the serbian market. But, if it is the word about a bank which is only in its beginnings and with an ambition, as claimed by general director of the bank, Vladimir Medan, that not before the next year it will go with work fully powered, it is not so strange that in the financial report says that the "losses were decreased by 69.9% and with 2.1 billions dinars were brought to 634.3 millions dinars." This doesn't mean that this bank was doing bad business, as there are data about its total activities which were increased for 15.7%, but it means that its administrative expenses of business making were increased for even 94.1% or from119 to 231.7 millions dinars.

"Our plan is that in 2007 we offer to all of our clients high banking standards under which Erste group does business all around the world. In order to accomplish our goal to make our service quick, efficient and affordable, we will invest in human resources, in young people and their education because in the whole business system of Erste group the key og success lies in the human resource - explains Medan and adds that Erste bank plans to increase funds asigned fro commerce, and in the sector of population primarely it will deal with residential and cash credits.
