Company Founding Applications in Serbia from May 17 Exclusively Electronic

The applications for the founding of business entities, which are sent to the Serbian Business Registers Agency (SBRA), are to be submitted exclusively in an electronic form from May 17, the Ministry of Economy announced.

– In line with the changes to the Law on the Procedure of Registration at the Serbian Business Registers Agency from 2021, which was initiated by the Ministry of Economy, the SBRA is obliged to accept applications for the founding of companies in electronic form exclusively, which is also in line with the concept of the e-Government and the digitization of the operations of the entire economy – the press release says.

This practically means that there will no longer be the possibility of submitting the application for the founding of a company to the SBRA in paper form.
