ProMobi – First “Green Repair Center” in Europe

The primary activity of ProMobi company is diagnostics, servicing and repair of telecommunication devices and equipment, software change and reconfiguration and programming support for mobile phones. We talked with Vladimir Milicevic, the CEO of ProMobi, about the new trends in this business segment.

What are the tendencies in ProMobi business operations? What is more common, servicing or buying new devices?

ProMobi operations are constantly on the rise and follow the needs of our clients. We noticed that more clients decide to service their devices instead of buying new ones, which is often a cheaper choice. Nevertheless, sometimes it is necessary to buy new devices, especially when repairs aren`t worthwhile. Servicing devices is becoming more regular although the sale of new devices is still a significant segment of our business.

The clients usually consider you a repair shop for Samsung devices . What other brands, beside Samsung, do you officially represent?

– It is true that we are mostly known for providing services to Samsung users, but aside from that, ProMobi is proud to be an official representative for many global brands that we have contracts with. Handful of companies in Serbia and wider can boast that they have gained the trust of global brands such as Apple, Huawei, Honor, Xiaomi, Motorola, Nokia, Vivo, Lenovo and others. We are also distributing Huawei devices ,which is one of the very attractive brands in the market.

Nowadays, your servicing capacities amount to 10,000 repairs per month. Does employing modern equipment and servicing principles mean having an identical approach as the authorized service centers in Europe?

– Our servicing capacities are significantly expanded and modernized, so we can deliver the same service level as the authorized service centers in Europe. We have services more that one million device so far. Using modern equipment and applying modern maintenance principles enables us to maintain high quality and work-efficiency standards. With a team of 100 employees, we strive to give the best possible service to our clients and fast, efficient and quality servicing at a European level.

You offer fast and efficient service logistics to your customers and a special-purpose web application for checking the status of your repair service at any time. Do customers use it?

– Our web application for repair tracking is very popular among users. With this app users can check the updates about their device`s repair status at any moment, which provides added safety and transparency. The majority of users have chosen to use this service and they have given us positive feedback on their experience.

Your prerogative is that you move with the times and today you bear the epithet of “Green Repair company”. What does that entail?

– ProMobi is proud of the fact that it was honored as the “First Green Repair Center” in Europe according to Samsung standards. The “Green Repair”epithet means we are committed to environmental protection and preserving natural resources. Accordingly, we use eco-friendly materials and technologies in servicing and we recycle electronic waste and promote reuse of electronic devices and components. In that way, we are continuously reducing the overall pollution and contributing to environmental protection.

Cooperation with “green” logistics companies in transporting devices to the repair center and back is another user benefit. What does this service entail for customers?

– Cooperation with logistics companies enables fast and efficient distribution of devices, for both servicing and sales. We are working with reliable courier partners in order to ensure fast and safe delivery of devices to and from our repair centers. We also use eco-friendly materials for packaging and we are optimizing out transport routes to reduce emissions of harmful gasses. This is another benefit for our clients, because it ensures safe delivery and faster service.

You`ve opened premises for private and business users on a premium location in Belgrade, Galerija Shopping Center, in cooperation with Samsung Electronics. Here customers can get details on mobile phones, try out devices, buy new one and ask for repairs.

– By opening the new repair center on the premium location in Belgrade together with Samsung Electronics, we want to give our customers the best service possible. Our service shop is located in an attractive, easily accessible location on the second floor of Galerija Shopping center. The shop is distinguished by its modern design, attractive setting for our clients and our experienced staff is always prepared to give advice or recommendations for servicing and purchasing new Samsung devices.


You are mostly known for servicing mobile phones and your shops but your portfolio also includes repairing home appliances, smart watches and laptops as well as small appliances and white goods. Is it true that customers think of ProMobi as a “solution for all technology-related situations”?


– Yes, it is true that our users think of ProMobi as a “solution to all technology-related situations” because of the wide range of services that we offer. Our portfolio includes servicing mobile phones, smart watches, laptops, desktops, TVs, small appliances and white goods. If our customers decide to a buy a new or used device, we can help them with that too. In our “Exchange Old for New” programme offers we offer to buy back the old devices and lower the price of the new purchase by the estimated value of the old device. We strive to provide comprehensive technical support and solutions for various devices and to make life easier for our customers.

We are dedicated to providing best quality services, efficient repairs, and we are constantly upgrading our capacities to fulfill all your technological needs.
