The construction of the Fruska Gora Corridor, a motorway of 47.7 kilometers on the Novi Sad-Ruma route, began in May 2021.

The road worth EUR 606 million is split into 4 sections, and the second section goes from Paragovo to the beginning of the Ruma bypass route.

The project also includes the construction of the Iriski Venac tunnel on Fruska Gora of around 3.7 kilometers, the longest tunnel in Serbia. The Fruska Gora Corridor will connect Corridor 10 and Corridor 4 and form the shortest link between Bosnia and Romania.

According to the announcements, the Fruska Gora Corridor should be completed by April 2025.
