Cuckovic: Belgrade Subway to Be Fully Automated and Without Train Drivers

The Belgrade Subway is getting supervision and an agreement with Deutsche Bahn will be signed in early May. The value of the project is EUR 36 million, the Belgrade city manager, Miroslav Cuckovic, said on RTS.

As he said, the main supervision over the construction of the subway system will be done by the German company Deutsche Bahn, and with the French and the Chinese companies which will build the subway, “we will have an automated subway system without train drivers.”
