There are also good wines and music, all at quite affordable prices.

Mr. Mladenovic says that the new owner, Metropol Group from Russia, is very satisfied with the hotel's previous operations and adds that the guests who keep returning to the hotel represent the best confirmation of the quality.

- Tulip Inn Putnik Belgrade has three stars, but the stay in it is much above that category. That is recognized by all our guests who are more than satisfied with the quality of accommodation and service, which are much different than expected for that category.

Let us remind that Tulip Inn Putnik Belgrade was opened on November 30, 2010, after a two-year reconstruction, and it now operates as part of the international hotel chain Golden Tulip Hospitality Group. About EUR 7 million were invested in the reconstruction. The hotel now spans 8,350 square meters and has seven overground and two underground floors. There are 97 rooms in the building, 12 of which are suites, while one room is intended for persons with special needs.

Lit by daylight, equipped with a modern audio-video equipment and big enough for 150 people, the conference room within the hotel is ideal for the organization of business and private events. People can enjoy culinary specialties at the hotel restaurant Nevski (250 seats), which is open to all hotel guests, as well as to those who would like to try various national and international dishes. Also, as our interlocutor points out, the ambient is ideal for a business lunch/dinner, as well as for wedding celebrations.

Zemun's millennium building, Gardos fortress, Madlenianum opera-theater house and the Danube Quay are all situated in the vicinity of the hotel. The Belgrade Fortress, Kalemegdan park, National Museum, National Theater and the pedestrian zone Knez Mihajlova street are only some of the sights of Belgrade on the must-see list. The hotel also has a parking lot for 29 cars.

Putnik hotel was built in 1971 according to the project designed by architect Mihajlo Mitrovic. Since May 2007, the oldest Serbian tourist company is in the possession of Metropol Group, one of the largest investment and industrial groups in Russia. This group bought Putnik for over EUR 40 million.
