From May 18, Application for Company Founding in Electronic Form Exclusively

The application for the founding of a company is to be filed to the Business Registers Agency in electronic form exclusively from May 18, the Ministry of Economy has announced.

In line with the amendments to the Law on the Procedure of Registration at the Business Registers Agency from 2021, initiated by the Ministry of Economy, the Business Registers Agency is obliged to receive said applications in electronic form exclusively, which is in line with the concept of eGovernment and digitization of the operations of the whole economy, as announced on the website of the Government of Serbia.

This practically means that there will no longer be the possibility of sending the application for the founding of a company to the Business Registers Agency in paper form.

This creates the conditions for the reduction of the costs and the time required for the founding of a company, improves and expands the level of services for citizens, reduces the time of the processing of a request by the Business Registers Agency, all of which contributes to higher efficiency, it is added.
