Pan-European Company VGP Arriving to Serbia – Foundation Stone to Be Laid Down in Dobanovci
The future VGP Park Belgrade will spread on an area of 1,140,000 m2 and be positioned next to highways M-70 and M-75 and the Belgrade ring road, in close proximity to the Nikola Tesla International Airport in Belgrade and only 15 km west from the city center, it is said in the invitation to this event.
The foundation stone will be laid down by the president of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, and the CEO of VGP, Jan Van Geet.
VGP is a pan-European company which owns, manages and builds real estate in the fields of logistics and semi-industrial production, and it is coming to Serbia for the first time. It provides services to clients who are seeking locations near large European cities, with direct access to the main roads and easy access and 24-hours-a-day operations.
VGP Group operates in 17 European countries, has property in 14 countries (Germany, Czechia, Spain, Netherlands, Italy, Portugal, Austria, Hungary, Latvia, Romania, Slovakia, Serbia, Croatia and France) and is listed on the Euronext Stock Exchange in Brussels.
As of December 2022, the gross value of the property of VGP, including 100% joint ventures, amounts to EUR 6.44 billion, whereas the net value of the company’s property (EPRA NTA) amounts to EUR 2.30 billion. The company also has a large area of land for future projects, and its strategic focus is on developing business parks with several tenants.
