Smart Mobility Conference on March 17 in Belgrade

On March 17, 2023, the Smart Mobility Conference will be held in Belgrade, in the Usce Shopping Center (TC Usce), 3rd floor.

The conference will gather the most eminent speakers from the domain of smart transportation, which also includes ecological and electrical transportation. Just like other parts of smart cities, smart transportation is based on energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources, but also greater security.

In smart transportation, it is understood that the end-goal is zero CO2 emission, as well as zero percent traffic accidents.

Which way to smart transportation which will provide us with greater safety, but also a healthier city environment, is a question that will be answered by experts and representatives of ministries and local self-governments, as stated in the announcement of the event. Are we to ride in cars without drivers, in planes or drones? For a start – in electric cars. It will also be discussed what EU states did to stimulate the purchase of electric cars. At a special panel, under the aegis of the Association of Serbian Banks, and with the participation of international finance organization, the ways of financing sustainable transportation and electrification will be discussed.

It is added that one curiosity is that the participants will be able to hear Dr. Josip Vlahovic, an innovator and an engineer who did pioneering work in the field of building electric cars and who, 30 years, ago, had a clear vision of the use of electric cars and also has it for the next 30 years – which he will share with the participants in the Smart Mobility Conference.
