Association of Serbian Banks: Corporate Loans Decrease in February as Well, Slight Increase in Retail Loans

The total corporate, retail and enterprise loans amounted to around RSD 3,313 billion at the end of February, which is 0.2% less than in January, as announced by the Association of Serbian Banks. Corporate loans amounted to around RSD 1,813 billion and are 0.4% lower than in January, and enterprise loans amounted to around RSD 69.2 billion, which is a drop of 0.8%.

Retail debts to banks increased 0.2% to RSD 1,431 billion.


Of the retail loans, consumer loans and refinancing loans each dropped 0.3%, whereas agricultural loans increased 0.4% and housing loans 0.3%. At the end of February, there were outstanding debts on 2.7% of all banking loans, compared to 2.9% in January.
