Wind Farm WV NBT WIND 1 in Pancevo to Have 22 Wind Turbines with Total Installed Power of up to 120 MW
The Draft Detailed Regulation Plan for the construction of the wind farm, prepared by the PE Urbanizam from Pancevo, as well as the Report on the Strategic Assessment of the Environmental Impact of the Wind Farm, are available for public view until March 24.
The reason for the preparation of the plan is the initiative of the company Vetroelektrana Banat 4 doo Beograd which was launched for the purpose of the planning of the infrastructural complex for the production of electrical energy from renewable sources in the area of the cadaster municipalities of Banatsko Novo Selo and Kacarevo in the territory of the City of Pancevo.
The rough area covered by the plan is around 1,255 ha, and the area covered by the plan is located on agricultural land.
The individual power of a wind generator will be around 8 MW (it can be higher than 8 MW), all depending on the technical-technological requirements, and will be determined by the technical documentation. In case the individual power of a wind generator is increased, the number of turbines will be lower than 22, that is, at the maximum number of turbines of 22, the individual power needs to be lower than 8 MW in order to comply with the total maximum installed power of 120 MW of this wind farm, the documentation says.
The maximum height of the wind generator poles, including the blade in the vertical position, will be 250 m, and the maximum length of a blade will be 90 m.
Access to the complex of the wind farm “WV NBT Wind 1” will be realized through access roads from the wind farm BNS, as well as through the main farm road, one half of which is within the borders of the plan of the wind farm BNS, whereas the other part is covered by the plan for the new wind farm.
Taking into consideration the spatial coverage of the wind farm and the dominant wind direction (southeast-northwest), as well as all safety distances, several separate zones in which wind generators will be arranged have been defined. These zones are predominantly rectangular and stretch in the direction perpendicular to the dominant wind direction (southwest-northeast).
During the construction, temporary features are planned within the complex, consisting of auxiliary flat areas, big radius bends (in order to enable the passage of outsized vehicles), open warehouses, parking lots for outsized specialized vehicles and a temporary factory for the production of concrete.
When it comes to the permanent features whose construction is planned in said area, foundations with a column and a flat area around the column are planned. The planned diameter of the column is up to 30 m. There will also be a handling area, access roads, an underground cable network and features in the function of wind monitoring – an anemometer pole for the measuring of wind speed and other parameters important to the functioning of wind generators.
Construction in several stages is planned.
