Designer Sought for Continuation of Construction of Aqua Park and Wellness Center in Banja Junakovic – Plan Includes 11 Pools, Therapy and Sauna Centers and Plastic Surgery Block
According to the tendering documentation, the construction of the aqua park facility - wellness center in Banja Junakovic in Apatin began back in 2008.
The works were carried out until 2011, when the construction was stopped due to the global economic crisis.
– In the past 14 years during which the works have not been continued, all the obtained permits and authorizations have expired. All the projects which were done in line with the then valid regulations are partially technologically outdated, but also physically lost by the procuring party, the Municipality of Apatin, with the passage of time, so the municipality only has partial documentation.
For that reason, it is added, it intends to prepare full project-technical documentation in order for all the necessary permits and authorizations to be obtained from the competent organs and institutions.
According to the project task, the construction of 11 pools is planned within the swimming center, among which are indoor and outdoor swimming and non-swimming pools, recreational pools with water slides, a therapeutic pool, children’s pools and sauna pools for walking and submerging…
In the second part of the facility, a therapy and sauna center and a section for plastic surgery (primarily consultative in character and meant for smaller interventions) are planned.
The center will also feature a restaurant, a bar and a café bar.
The tender expires on March 6.
