The minister of finance of Serbia, Sinisa Mali, has stated that the works on the construction of the national stadium would begin “in several weeks”.
– We have signed the agreement on the infrastructure, literally at this moment, camps for workers are being built and the works are to start in the next several weeks – Mali said for TV Prva.
According to him, the estimates are that, by the beginning or the middle of 2026, the construction of the national stadium will be finished.
Mali said that the construction of Sector B on the bypass route around Belgrade would be completed “in a few months”, whereby the Belgrade-Nis highway would be connected to the traffic route of the same type to Zagreb.
He said that it was the most important part of that bypass route, which, as he said, would be completed in a few months, most probably by June.
