Electronic Commerce Market in Serbia Recording Double-Digit Growth

The minister of internal and foreign trade of Serbia, Tomislav Momirovic, last night called for joint efforts toward an additional improvement of the electronic commerce market, which is now recording a double-digit growth in Serbia.

Momirovic pointed out in his address at the central eCommerce event in Serbia “Hot Spot eCommerce Awards”, organized by the eCommerce Association of Serbia, that in the preceding three years there had been more changes in the digital eco system that in the preceding three decades, according to the website of the Government of Serbia.

He said that the Ministry of Internal and Foreign Trade of Serbia, together with the relevant institutions, the eCommerce Association of Serbia and companies which deal with electronic commerce, would work to suppress the online shadow economy, to upgrade the legislation framework and to improve the market based on the fair competition principle.
