Ski Center Kopaonik to Get Another Gondola – Combined Ski Lift Mali Karaman to Have 48 Seats and 15 Gondolas on 1,310-m Route

The Municipality of Brus has announced the public presentation of the urban project for the construction of the combined gondola Mali Karaman at the Kopaonik Ski Center.

According to the project, which was prepared by Bauprojekt from Belgrade, and whose investor is the PE Ski Resorts of Serbia, the planned gondola will be built on an area of 29.69 ha, in the territory of the cadaster municipalities Kopaonik and Brzece.

The planned location of the combined gondola-ski lift Mali Karaman is on the route of the existing ski lift Mali Karaman on the Mali Karaman-Suvo Rudiste route (Mali Karaman-Military Home) and the new facility is to replace the existing ski lift along the same route.

The combined ski lift with a maximum speed of 5 meters per second will have the form of a mixed separable lift for 6 passengers on the seats and 10 passengers on the gondola, and it will have a total of 63 vehicles – 48 seats and 15 gondolas.

The maximum planned length of the ski lift route is 1,310 meters.
