Nis Airport Had 166% More Passengers Last Year Than in 2021 – Drop in Cargo Transport
In 2021, slightly over 146,000 passengers were recorded at the Nis Airport.
During 2022, the most passengers were recorded in August, around 48,000, whereas July saw over 46,000.
In the first two months of last year, the Nis Airport was the destination for 14,000 and 15,000 passengers respectively, and in all the months from May to December, the number exceeded 30,000.
The official statistics, however, show a drop in cargo transport: last year, the Constantine the Great Airport was the destination for only 13 planes with 92 tons of goods, and in 2021, there were 39 cargo planes with 310 tons of goods.
