Soon agreement on construction of Pan-European oil pipeline
The Agreement on construction of Pan-European Oil Pipeline will be signed on March 21 and 22 in Trieste. This was confirmed in Zagreb, at the seventh meeting of the International Committee for Supervision of Realization of that project. The Ministry of Mining and Energy of Serbia says that Pan-European oil pipeline is gaining in importance and that it will grow from the regionally important infrastructural facility into the European one. The oil pipeline will connect Caspian and Russian regions rich with oil with the countries of European Union. The oil pipeline 1,319 km long will go through Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia and Italy. The value of that facility is estimated to about 2 billion USD.
