Considerable Potential for Deepening Cooperation of Serbia and China in ICT

The minister of information and telecommunications, Mihailo Jovanovic, agreed with the ambassador of China to Serbia, Chen Bo, that there was considerable potential and mutual interest in deepening the cooperation in the domain of information and telecommunications technologies.

According to the Government’s website, the minister and the ambassador talked about the excellent cooperation that had been established in ICT.

Jovanovic presented the current activities and the future plans of the competent ministry, and he especially highlighted the importance of the Project of Development of Broadband Infrastructure in Rural Areas of the Republic of Serbia, that is, the project oriented at the development of fast internet in villages.

He expressed his gratitude for the invaluable help that China had provided during the COVID-19 pandemic and the intensive, long fight against the coronavirus.
