Pavarotti in Belgrade on May 21, price of ticket - 120 EUR
Production company Komuna confirmed that Pavarotti would have concert in Sava Center in Belgrade on May 21, 2005. Pavarotti announced that he would finish his singing career on October 12, 2005. The ticket for concert in Belgrade will cost 120 EUR, which was understood as the singer’s generous gesture since the ticket for the concert in Doublin, which is the next scheduled concert, costs 600 GBP.
Maksa Ćatović, director of Komuna has also announced other programs and he pointed out success of concerts held by R.E.M, Metallica, Placebo and Deep Purple. At the beginning of April, Monks from the Shaolin Monastery will have their performance in Belgrade, Niš and Kragujevac. Irish dancers Lord of the dance are the next. At the end of 2005 the famous magician David Coperfild and musician Phil Collins are coming. The negotiations with Iron Maiden are underway, whereas Sting and Ramstein will not have concerts in Belgrade in 2005.
