Dijamant Gets EUR 5.4 Million in State Subsidies for New Factory in Zrenjanin

The Dijamant factory, a member of the Croatian Fortenova Grupa, has received EUR 5.4 million in state subsidies from Serbia for the construction of a new factory.

The project of the new and more efficient factory for the production of raw and edible oil in Zrenjanin is subsidized by the Ministry of Economy, as reported by Nova Ekonomija.

To EUR 5.4 million of state money, Dijamant should invest at least EUR 32.6 million by the end of 2024. By then, it should also employ at least 30 workers.

The state aid will be paid in three tranches. This year, EUR 2.2 million will be paid to Dijamant, EUR 1.8 million will be paid next year, and EUR 1.4 million will be paid in 2024.

The company has obligated to employ five workers in 2022, ten workers in 2023 and 15 new workers in 2024.
