FPM Agromehanika Finishing Construction of Solar Power Plant on Roofs of Its Facilities in Boljevac

FPM Agromehanika, as a socially responsible company, is successfully finishing the works on the construction of a solar power plant with a capacity of 1 MWp on the roofs of its facilities in Boljevac. FPM is building the solar power plants for its own needs with the possibility of returning the surplus power to the public distribution network in line with the Law on the Use of RES, whereby it will acquire the status of a producer-consumer, that is, a prosumer.

The built solar power plant, according to the projected requirements and the software projections, should produce around 1,100,000 kWh a year, whereby FPM, as a socially responsible company, will, in addition to upgrading the efficiency of their operations, also take part in reducing the emission of harmful gases and enable the achieving of goals such as preserving natural resources, the population’s health, and fighting climate change on the global level.

FPM Agromehanika is the biggest producer of agricultural machines in Southeast Europe, with a tradition of 60 years. Since its founding in 1961, the company has kept up with technological trends and perfected the production, thanks to which it is a successful company with over 220 highly trained and qualified employees, with the most modern machines and a developed technology in all phases of production.

Product development is done at the company’s own research and development department, maintaining close cooperation with faculties and institutes for agriculture and mechanical engineering, as well as with well known and renowned producers of agricultural machines from Italy, France and Germany.
