Serbian Companies Contract Exporting Jobs Worth EUR 11 Million at SIAL Show in Paris
– During the five days of the show, our companies had the most meetings with interested partners from the region, the EU, Turkey, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Egypt, as well as Canada and the USA – says Bojana Lalovic of the CCIS.
She reminds that 29 Serbian companies promoted their production and exporting potential within two national pavilions, one for finished products, the other for frozen ones, from October 15 to 19 in Paris, says the press release by the CCIS.
The companies which presented their offer are ITN Group Beograd, Mambikom Agrar Beograd, PIK Becej, Laki Arilje, Master Fruits Beograd, Frigo Paun Pozega, Euro Frigo Pozega, BMN Malinas Pozega, Masli Leskovac, Menex Krusevac, Friglo Sutjeska, Strela Grup Leskovac, Sicoberry Kraljevo, Fabrika decije hrane Dobanovci, Cmana Krnjevo, Jaffa Crvenka, Agranela Valjevo, Budimka Pozega, ColdPressok Beograd, Damar Confir Beograd, Tisacoop Kanjiza, Tartufi SR Beograd, Yumis Nis, Borovnica klub Mionica, ES Komerc Prijepolje, Candy Rush Beograd, Sanum per Fructus Kragujevac, Geneza Kanjiza, Interfood 60 Cacak and Zdravo organik Selenca.
The company Laki reminds that this is their fourth time at the show and that, despite the pause caused by Covid, they have renewed old contacts and made important new ones with interested partners from the whole world.
– SIAL is an excellent opportunity to promote our products. We met new clients and learned about the latest food manufacturing trends – said Milos Jeremic, the commercial director.
– Our main products are frozen fruit – raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, sour cherries, blueberries – everything we have in Serbia. Our aim is to sell the final product, not just raw ingredients. We are satisfied, there were plenty of visitors and there was a great interest from partners – Jeremic adds.
The family company Frigo-Paun also showcased frozen fruit, established new contacts and expects a continuation of the agreements with the potential purchasers after the fair. They emphasize the great support of the CCIS and the DAS, which is very important for small and medium enterprises, because it makes them more visible than if they had presented themselves individually.
SIAL is held every two years, and after a four-year break due to the pandemic, this leading food industry show in Paris gathered over 7,200 exhibitors from 119 countries with over 400,000 quality products.
