The urban project and the preliminary design for the fast route that will connect the Gruza Corridor, that is, Kragujevac, with the Morava Corridor, have been completed.
The Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure has advertised the public presentation of the urban project of the section of I-grade state road (connection e-761-Kragujevac) from the Katrga interchange (on the Ia-grade state road e-761 Morava Corridor) to the Mrcajevci interchange (on the Ib-grade state road m-22).
The section from the Mrcajevci interchange to the Katrga interchange is an important link of the Pojate-Preljina highway (
Morava Corridor) with Mrcajevci, that is, the fast route Kragujevac-Mrcajevci (Gruza Corridor), but also the northern bypass route around Kragujevac and the military-civilian airport Morava, whose draft spatial plan for the special-purpose area is in the phase of being adopted.
The investor in the project is the PE Roads of Serbia, and the preliminary design and the urban project were prepared by Hidroprojekat-saobracaj doo Beograd.
The road route for a speed of 100 km/h is being planned as well.
The profile of the planned state road entails 4 lanes with a width of 3.50 meters each, just as many shoulders of half a meter each and a dividing strip of 4 meters. It is also mandatory to plan additional traffic lanes for entering and exiting the road route.
