The Republic Institute for Protection of Cultural Monuments has published the results of the public international urban-architectural contest for the development of the archaeological park Belo Brdo with the preliminary design of the facilities of the center for visitors and the scientific research center in Vinca, which was opened in late March.

A total of 12 works had been sent digitally until the deadline defined within the contest.

First prize, worth EUR 24,000, was awarded to a design prepared within the studio AKVS Arhitektura, Belgrade, authored by Andjela Karabasevic Sudzum and Vladislav Sudzum, and the designers are Marija Matijevic, Dunja Dedic, Nenad Pavlovic and Vuk Zlatkovic.

Two prizes, each worth EUR 10,500, were awarded as well, the first one to a team consisting of project author Milos Paunovic, architecture assistant Yihong Chen, 3D visualization assistant Jaden Mialszygrosz from Australia.

The other one was awarded to a design by Jelena Miletic and Dejan Miletic.

In addition to these awards, the preliminary design by authors Snezana Vesnic and Vladimir Milenkovic and their assistants Sinisa Savatijevic, Aleksandra Radovanovic, Marko Cekanovic, Jelena Rajovic, Duska Prodanovic and Mila Lukovic was bought out for EUR 3,000.

Two other works, judged to be of equal merit by the jury, were bought out for EUR 1,500 each.

The design signed by Spring Studio (Maja Dragisic, Milan Bozic and Milica Milosavljevic) was bought out.

The design team consisted of Katarina Crljenica, Aleksandar Bojanic and Tamara Koneska.

The design by the team of authors of MART Architecture, consisting of Bogdan Djokic, Milos Komlenic, Nemanja Kordic Irena Nikolic, Aleksa Rasic, Ivan Raskovic, Ilija Srdanovic and Nikola Stevanovic, was also bought out for EUR 1,500.
