The investor Royal Solar from New Belgrade is planning the construction of the solar power plants Surduk 1, Surduk 2 and Surduk 3 in Stara Pazova meant for the production of electricity for sale.

The photovoltaic solar power plants are to be located around 2 km south of the Surduk settlement and around 2.7 km north of the Belegis settlement next to the Belegis-Surduk road. The total area of the parcel meant for construction is 42,606 m2, and this is agricultural land outside the borders of the construction area.

The construction of the power plants is planned in phases. The first phase entails the construction of the photovoltaic power plant Surduk I with an installed power of 990 kW, whereas the second phase entails the construction of Surduk II, also with an installed power of 990 kW. The third phase entails the construction of the power plant Surduk III, equal in power to the other two.

The preliminary design is prepared by Tara Green Energy from Bajina Basta, whereas the carrier of the preparation of the urban project is G&P Pro-Ing from Stara Pazova.

The urban project is up for public inspection until September 22.
