Wind Farm BNS in Pancevo to Have up to 28 Wind Turbines of Total Installed Power of 125 MW

The PE Urbanizam from Pancevo has prepared, for the needs of the city, the draft Detailed Regulation Plan for the construction of Wind Farm BNS in the area of the municipality of Banatsko Novo Selo in the territory of the city of Pancevo.

According to the plan, the reason for the preparation is the initiative of Vetroelektrane Banat-4 doo Beograd from March 2021, which was launched for the purpose of planning an infrastructural complex for the production of electrical energy from renewable sources.

– The subject of the preparation of the planning document is to plan, depending on the wind potential, the construction of one or more wind farms – the infrastructural complex of Wind Farm BNS with suitable connection medium-voltage cable, TC and other networks, as well as a network of access roads, all in line with the possibilities and conditions of connecting to the electrical energy systems – it was clarified.

The rough area covered by the plan is around 1,587 ha.

– According to the preliminary analyses, the construction of a maximum of 28 wind turbines with a total installed power of up to 125 MW is planned in said area, which will be connected to the power distribution system, all in line with the conditions of the PE Elektromreza Srbije. The individual power of wind generators will be around 8 MW (it can also be higher than 8 MW), all depending on the technical-technological requirements, and it will be determined by the technical documentation – the DRP says and adds that, in case of an increase of the individual power of a wind generator, the number of the turbines will be lower than 28, that is, at the maximum number of turbines of 28, the individual power has to be lower than 8 MW, in order to comply with the total maximum installed power of 125 MW of this wind farm.
