A business summit, one of the most important business events in the Western Balkans, which will gather and connect representatives of the business community of the region with the leading world companies and experts in digitization and supply chain management, will be held on September 28-29 in Belgrade, organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia (CCIS), the Western Balkans Six Chamber Investment Forum (WB6 CIF) and the company Convenstenics doo.

The Western Balkans is an increasingly attractive investment destination, but also a place where European companies are moving their production from distant markets. The summit will focus on digital transformation of business operations, internationalization and supply chain management, the CCIS announced.

More than 200 owners and company directors will have the opportunity to connect with partners through the B2B platform, agree new jobs, but also exchange experiences about the latest trends, challenges and solutions in economy, global trade and industry with the leading world experts over the course of the two-day summit.

The InterConnect Executive Summit is an excellent opportunity for Serbian companies to connect with renowned partners, get new jobs and contracts, become part of international supply chains and become more visible and competitive in the world market – said Marko Cadez, the president of the CCIS. The event in Belgrade will gather companies from the region and large companies looking for suppliers from the Western Balkans, and the arrival of over 30 purchasers from the fields of information technologies, car, metal, electro and food industries is expected.

The speakers and guests are coming from abroad, from companies whose total turnover exceeds EUR 50 billion, and which have found a business interest in cooperation with companies from the Western Balkans region. These are companies such as Thyssenkrupp Automotive, INEOS, L’Oréal, Zentis, OSCE, Celonis and others.

Supply processes, suppler chains and experiences in regional cooperation will be discussed by Oliver Frille, CPO at INEOS Automotive, and Ferdinand Wieland, COP & SVP Procurement & Supply Chain at Thyssenkrupp Automotive Technology, and a range of interesting presentations of IT experts in the fields of software development and digital transformation is planned as well.
