BAS Accepts Termination of Agreement by Mutual Consent – City to Complete New Bus Station
He specifies that the acceptance of the termination of the agreement by mutual consent means that the city will pay to BAS “all the money that they have invested in the past four and a half years, although the fault for it not being finished is partially theirs as well, because the City of Belgrade provided the land and did the access roads”.
– We will do so, because we’re talking 700 employees here that their management needs to take care of – Sapic said.
According to him, the city is now “providing additional money, because we believe that it is in the interest of the citizens of Belgrade to get a bus station as soon as possible, but also because we want to show that we care about the 700 employees who work there”.
– Except that, following this, all the responsibility for the further operations of the company is put on the majority owners and the management, and not someone else, and I believe that the employees who work there now understand that as well. We will finish the Belgrade Bus Station in several months and find an operator to run it – Sapic concluded.
Let us remind that the agreement on the construction of a bus station in Block 42 between BAS and the City was signed in 2017, and the foundation stone was laid down in 2018.
