The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management stated today that the Serbian government abolished the ban on export of wheat and corn.

Such a decision was made after the analysis of the current situation and of wheat reserves after the harvest. Free export will be in effect until the beginning of autumn, when a new evaluation of the situation and total reserves of the key cereals will be made and further steps will be taken accordingly, the press release says.

The government also made a decision to allow export of 4,000 tons of refined sunflower oil in bulk, according to the statement.
