For the second year in a row, Lidl Srbija is the winner of the Certificate “Employer Partner”, awarded by the consulting company SELECTIO for excellence in human potential management. An independent acknowledgment in this field, awarded to companies based on the degree of development of HR practices, confirms that Lidl Srbija continuously invests in the well-being of its employees, both through securing quality working conditions and through the constant development of benefits for the employees.
Lidl Srbija has successfully completed the certification process, which entails five fields – strategy, recruiting and selection, performance management, professional development and relation toward the employees – and thereby confirmed that it reaches the high standards necessary for obtaining this certificate. Lidl displayed the best practices in recruiting and selection, and it especially stands out in carrying out programs of constant training and professional development on all levels, thereby proving why it is among the best employers in the local and regional markets.

The Certificate “Employer Partner” was established in 2005 to the end of promoting quality HR management and, so far, over 120 organizations have taken part in the certification process. The certification of employers is carried out by the consulting company SELCTIO with a long-term experience in this field, and the new thing this year is that support to the process in Serbia is also provided by the partner agency HR Xcel, which, with its team, actively helps companies check how these practices are carried out in reality and facilitates the process of analysis of HR systems for organizations.
We remind that Lidl Srbija is also the winner of the prestigious certificate “Top Employer Serbia” and “Top Employer Europe” for 2022 at the levels of the state of Serbia and the territory of Europe, together with other Lidl countries, awarded by the Top Employers Institute, valuing the clearly defined processes of HR management, which influence the building of fair relations and the benefits that the company provides to its employees.
The won acknowledgments and certificates are a reflection of the company’s dedicated relation to its employees, as confirmed by the fact that Lidl’s employees have a five-day work week and that every minute of their work is paid for. They are also provided with special benefits, such as private health insurance under equal conditions for all. Lidl Srbija continues to develop and expand, and the 61st Lidl store in Serbia opened recently, so the Lidl team now consists of over 2,800 employees.
