The Department for Spatial Planning, Urban Planning and Construction of the City of Sombor has announced the beginning of the works on the preparation of the detailed regulation plan for the construction of a solar power plant at the cadaster municipality of Bezdan.
The notice says that a public discussion will be carried out, following which a draft decision will be prepared.
Let us remind that, in August last year, the Chinese company CMC Europe LLC and the City of Sombor signed the protocol on cooperation for the construction of a solar power plant in the territory of Sombor.
As the media reported, the solar power plant will have a power of 100 megawatts, and the investment is worth over EUR 100 million.
