STAMH Offers Solution for Any Warehouse – Radio Shuttle Among Most Efficient Ones

STAMH is an Austrian engineering company which does consulting, designing and engineering of complex automation and mechanized warehouses, including control software. Radio Shuttle

One of the most efficient solutions offered by STAMH Group – Radio Shuttle, is provided to Coca-Cola and the Rosa Voda brand.

A large number of trucks needs to be loaded each day with nearly 1,000 kg of pallets. STAMH had to design a build a system of racks for warehousing and taking of pallets, capable of efficiently using a limited space, storing various products, but primarily for a quick taking and storing of pallets.

The new storage system can take up to 4,608 pallets in a limited space. It is organized in 32 halls with a total of six stacking levels. It has the possibility of storing and taking up to 192 different SKUs (stock keeping units), organized in wrapped pallets – products with different labels and packaging, designed for different markets.

The new storage system is equipped with four semi-automatic Radio Shuttle platforms for the storing and taking of pallets. The structure of the racks is stable and enables smooth and fast operations of Radio Shuttle platforms. Each Radio Shuttle platform can work in a fully automated regime in each of the 192 corridors.

The Radio Shuttle platforms are programmed to achieve maximum storage density by putting each pallet at a maximum distance of 5 cm from each other, while working at the optimal speed. They have successfully passed all performance tests, meeting the high standards demanded by the purchaser.

The engineering and the designing of the structure of heavy racks and robot system was done in the same period as the construction of the external structure of the warehouse and it took two months. The system was put into operation in only three weeks.


STAMH Group is preparing its participation in LogiMat 2022, from May 31 to June 2 in Stuttgart.

The exhibit is among the most important events in the field of technologies for the automation of warehouses and storage of materials, warehouse equipment, sorting systems, packaging, and software solutions for storage and logistics.

Under the slogan “Smart, Sustainable, Secure”, the fair will gather the biggest world companies for intralogistics systems and secure a platform for direct trade negotiations, exchange of know-how between experts and even live demonstrations of doable solutions, which pave the way toward the right approach.

Among the most important topics at LogiMat 2022 will be digitization, interconnection, artificial intelligence and big data, in the context of the era of Industry 4.0 and the Internet of Things, because the progress in technology and intelligent autonomous systems opens new levels of productivity and additional values on the entire supply chain.
