Government Limits Prices of Basic Foodstuffs for Another 60 Days – Wholesale Fuel Prices Higher by 7 Dinars from Today, Excise Taxes Lower by 15%
The Decree will be in force for 60 days, from the day of its coming into effect.
The government adopted changes to the Decree on Limitation of Prices of Petroleum Products, which increases the average wholesale price of EURO DIESEL and EURO PREMIJUM BMB 95 in the territory of the Republic of Serbia by RSD 7 each.
This Decree will be in force from the day of its coming into effect, April 29 until May 31 this year.
Business entities selling motor and other fuels at stations for supply of vehicles are obliged to continue to deliver these petroleum products by pouring into propellant tanks of vehicles and cans for transport of petroleum products in a maximum amount of up to 60 liters.
Government members also made a decision to temporary reduce the amount of excise duties on petroleum products by 15% from the published harmonized amounts on petroleum products – leaded gasoline, unleaded gasoline and gas oils, bearing in mind the current situation with the price of crude oil on the world market and its tendency of further growth, which is affecting negatively the macroeconomic stability of the country.
